She joined the PCCF board in 2024 and previously had served on committees including the leadership committee, grants committee and the Inspiration Station Committee.

In addition to her work on various boards, Katie also is a volunteer with the Pickaway County FANS network, iCan Swim Program, and is a lector at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

To Katie, philanthropy is a critical component of living in a small town and having a successful community.

“We’re so fortunate to have that here in Pickaway County through the tremendous efforts of people and organizations like PCCF,” she shared. “There is a common misconception though, that philanthropy is only advanced through monetary donation, yet that isn’t true! Philanthropy is giving of one’s time, talents, and treasures – regardless of age, regardless of socio-economic status, regardless of other barriers of entry. Anyone can give of themselves through one of those avenues and to create a robust culture of giving, you need each.”

Katie is a Circleville native where she currently lives with her husband Colin and Daughter Mia.
