Boards currently serving on: David currently serves on the Brooks-Yates Housing Opportunity Board and PICCA Head Start Policy Council and was a founding board member of Pickaway Toastmasters.

Accomplishments: During David’s time at Pickaway the library has expanded its public service hours, opened a drive-through pickup window in Circleville, launched the Dolly Parton Imagination Library book gifting program in the county, and started loaning non-traditional collections like WIFI hotspots, puzzles, musical instruments, and board games.

Industry and Educational Experience: David Fausnaugh has served as the director of Pickaway County Library since 2016. After graduating from Capital University, he began his career at Bexley Public Library and earned his MLIS from Kent State University. While at Bexley, David worked in numerous positions, beginning as a page and including roles in information technology, collection development, public services, and facilities management. He spent his last three years with the library as the director of support services.

Personal Interest: In his spare time, you can find David golfing, watching basketball, or laughing at ridiculous YouTube videos.
