The Pickaway County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of the Lou Ann Clark Animal Welfare Fund, started thanks to a generous gift by Lou Ann Clark.
In life, Lou Ann earned a Masters in Banking from the University of Wisconsin ultimately working for Bank One for over 30 years, finally as Vice-President.
Lou Ann loved animals, including her golden retriever Shep. In addition, Lou Ann gave an estate gift to the Well Being Fund of Pickaway County to be utilized to help address human health concerns in Pickaway County.
“When I visited with Lou Ann to determine where her estate would make the greatest impact for the causes she cared about, she was clear in addition to her love of animals, the mental, physical and emotional health of the community was a deep concern of hers,” Rose Vargo McFarland, Lou Ann’s attorney, wrote in a letter to PCCF.
