The annual Farm to Plate dinner was held in September at Heritage Hall. The program this year was a collaboration with the Pickaway County Commissioners to unveil the first inductees into the Pickaway County Agriculture Hall of Fame. Congratulations to the inductees and their families: Reuben R. Jones, Robert D. Scherer, John Stevenson, James Lewis, John Dunlap, Jr., Bill Richards and Shirley Dunlap Bowser.
The Farm to Plate dinner is the annual fundraiser for the PCCF Agriculture Fund. Each year the fund supports a number of different initiatives supporting youth and agriculture. This year, through sponsorship of tables, they were able to present a check for $6,050 that will be split among the four FFA organizations in the Pickaway County schools.
