This Scholarship is awarded in the memory of Joshua Green. Joshua was a 2014 graduate of Westfall High School. He was a varsity member of the wrestling team, the football team and the baseball team. Upon finishing high school, Joshua went to Pickaway Ross Adult Education and got his Electrician Certificate. He went on to work for Jess Howard Electric and then Team Fishel. Joshua was a friend to many and missed dearly by his family and friends. Joshua died in a freak accident on February 15, 2019.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a graduating senior from Westfall School District.
- This scholarship will give preference to any student actively involved in wrestling, football or baseball, whether on the team or assisting with the team (statistician, manager, etc.) or any student involved in any sport at Westfall will be considered.
- Candidate must be pursuing any post-secondary school including technical, vocational, college or university.
- This scholarship does not have a minimum grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Payment Distribution
The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and other academic fees. The scholarship must not displace any institutional or other aid.

Application and Award Process
- Pickaway County Community Foundation will send applications to Westfall High School for distribution for the upcoming academic year.
- Candidates complete the paper application by the deadline.
- After the deadline, the Pickaway County Community Foundation reviews complete applications for eligibility.
- The Foundation sets up the selection committee meeting.
- Finalists are chosen by the selection committee.
- Interviews of the finalist take place.
- The Foundation sends denial letters to those who did not receive the scholarship.
- The Foundation sends award letters to recipients that include an explanation of the payment request process and the proof of enrollment form.
- Once proof of enrollment has been received by the Foundation, a check will be sent to the recipient’s educational institution.
