John Essman

John joined the PCCF board in April 2024. During the day, he works as a lender at Kingston National Bank in the Amanda Branch. Previously he was the committee chair of the PCCF Agricultural Fund.

John has volunteered in Real Money, Real World, a financial literacy program hosted by the Pickaway County OSU Extension Office, he’s help conduct mock interviews for soon to be graduating high school seniors and is currently on the Kingston National Bank Scholarship Committee. In his spare time John manages a small show pig herd and is a self-proclaimed huge fan of Ohio State University Athletics.

To John, philanthropy is about giving back to his community.

“Philanthropy allows me to give back to the community that has given so much to me and provide opportunities for future generations,” he said. “I truly believe a lot of the experiences I had growing up here helped mold the person I am today, and I want others in the community to thrive.”
