James A. Brown, Jr

James A. Brown, Jr. is the Chief Deputy from the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his career he has strived to leave things better than he found it.  Under his current role he has been instrumental in providing better tools and training to improve Law Enforcement service for the community. Through his career he has received the Certified Law Enforcement Manager through the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association, Deputy of the year, and Office Commendations through the Pickaway Sheriff’s Office.  He is a recent graduate of the 19th session of the Department of Homeland Security Leadership Academy. James enjoys time with his family and many activities outside. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his family, and power sports riding.
