Accomplishments: 2024 Equity Champion by the Association for Rural and Small Libraries.

Industry and Educational Experience: Since 2023, Drew Wichterman has served as the director of the Pickaway County Library where he has enhanced accessibility, expanded technology education, and developed arts programming for older adults. His professional affiliations include the American Library Association, the Public Library Association, and the Association for Rural and Small Libraries. With his passion for community engagement, advocacy, and intellectual freedom, Drew often speaks at national and state library conferences.

He holds a BA in History from Muskingum University and a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Kent State University. Drew began his library career at the Dayton Metro Library and later worked at the Tipp City Public Library, where he gained experience in youth services, outreach, adult services, and administration.

Personal Interest: Drew enjoys reading nonfiction, serving as a judge for the Audie Awards, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
