David retired from the Ohio State University Medical Center and has served on the board since 2021. He’s also a member of Noon Rotary in Circleville and serves as a board member on the Ohio State University Retirees Association and the Forst Cemetery Association. He volunteers with the Rotary community kitchen and other projects, teaching beginning beekeeping classes and participating in the “Real Money, Real World” experience in Pickaway County Schools.
For David, Philanthropy is about incorporating it into his own life and conveying to others the practical wisdom and best practices of others who have shaped and personally invested in the community.
“One does not need to be wealthy or well-known to make a substantial impact in the well-being of our community,” David shared. “Motivated individuals and groups sharing a single vision are aligned for success. Practical and thoughtful planning and goal-setting build momentum are the key resources needed to advance projects to fruition.”
