Grant issued to Support Foundations 4 Youth Program

The Pickaway County Community Foundation unrestricted fund in conjunction with the Yamarick Family Fund and the Chris Gary Memorial Fund are pleased to announce the issuance of a grant in the amount of $7,750 for the assistance in the support of the Foundations 4 Youth Program.

Grant issued to Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio

The Pickaway County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the issuance of a grant in the total amount of $1,500 to support the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio. This grant is being made in conjunction with the unrestricted fund of PCCF, the Yamarick Family Fund and the Chris Gary Memorial Fund.

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra Supported

The Pickaway County Community Foundation in conjunction with the Yamarick Family Fund issued a grant in the amount of $1,500 to support the Attract Tourism Foundation in bringing the Columbus Symphony Orchestra to Circleville on April 29, 2018.

The Emily Nelson Memorial Fund

The Westfall Education Foundation and the Pickaway County Community Foundation are pleased to announce that a new fund has been established in memory of Emily Nelson. The Emily Nelson Memorial Fund will enable the Westfall School District and the Westfall Education Foundation to partner together to provide additional learning opportunities for the district’s students.

The PCN Education Fund, a subsidiary of the Pickaway County Community Foundation, is excited to announce a $4,000.00 grant to Pickaway HELPS. The award is specifically directed to the Pickaway WORKS initiative.

The US Bank Fund of the Pickaway County Community Foundation Issues Grant to Logan Elm Art Department

Kelly Sockman, District Manager of the US Bank, presented a check from the US Bank Director’s Fund to Logan Elm art teacher, Heath Bennett and high school principal, Nate Smith. This grant will be used to buy iPads for the art department which will assist the “student population by exposing them to the world of visual arts through history, studio production and technology” according to Heath Bennett.

Clays for Community

PCCF is joined forces with Touched by Cancer to present the first Clays for the Community. This event was a clay target shooting sporting event that featured the ability for amateur or experts to shoot at 15 different stations.
