PCCF Year End Grant Benefits Children
The Pickaway County Community Foundation, the Yamarick Family Fund and the Well Being Fund of PCCF ended the year with grants that allow for the continuation of services at the Pickaway County Visitation Center. PCCF and the Yamarick Family Fund granted $22,500 and the Well Being Fund granted $10,000.
PCCF and UWPC join forces with new food initiative
CIRCLEVILLE— The Pickaway County Community Foundation and the United Way of Pickaway County have come together to help ensure that at-risk groups won’t go hungry during the COVID-19 quarantine.
The Pickaway County Community Foundation (PCCF) and United Way of Pickaway County have created the Pickaway County Food Relief Initiative with the goal of providing immediate financial aid to organizations and providing food to at-risk groups as a result of the pandemic.
“Feed Our Kids” Donations Through PCCF
Everyday a student goes to school hungry. With the sudden suspension of school due to the coronavirus, there are many children that will be hungry over the next few weeks without that meal they depend on at school.
Thanking Dan and Jerry for Their Years of Service
The Pickaway County Community Foundation would like to thank two retiring Board members for their years of service. Dan Litzinger and Jerry Leist were elected to the Pickaway County Community Foundation Board in December, 2010. Each has served three-year terms giving countless hours to PCCF.
Remembering Doris Yamarick
PCCF and the community lost one of the co-founders of the Foundation.
Youth Advisory Council
The Pickaway County Community Foundation is pleased to have a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) which represents students from all four of the public schools. The YAC will teach students about philanthropy and leadership.
Imagination Library
In June the Pickaway County Library and PCCF collaborated to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program to Pickaway County.
