End of Year Letter December 2025

Food Pantry

To our valued donors,

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

We have been very busy this year in 2025 and we thought we’d take a little bit of time to share so highlights as we look to the foundations 25th Anniversary in 2026.

New Funds

PCCF opened nine new funds in 2025 and now hold more than $23 million in assets. A few examples of those new funds include the friends and family of Mike Logan who opened a fund in his honor to provide admission to students visiting the Inspiration Station, there several new scholarships including the Southward Family who opened a scholarship for Teays Valley students, a scholarship opened in honor of Don Bucher by his wife and daughter to create opportunities for students in agriculture, The Sutton Family opened two scholarships including one that would help students get licensing and equipment they need to earn their certificates through Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center and the Pickaway Sportsman Inc. opened a scholarship to benefit Pickaway County residents looking to get post secondary education relating to agriculture or agriculture business.

Thes are incredible gifts from those donors and the community to help make these initiatives possible and we’re looking to build on this success going into 2026.

Food Insecurity

Not only did we complete the beef project for the fifth consecutive year in 2025, we’ve now provided over 62,000 meals to Pickaway County Families. PCCF organized a community meeting with non-profits and government agencies that combat food insecurity starting in November.  The initial meeting was in response to the potential loss of SNAP payments for many residents. The group met again in December and will continue to meet to see how we can better address the needs moving forward of those facing food insecurity. We’re planning a food drive for Mid-March to help address some of the things our local non-profits are seeing. We feel that when we work together we can do more and serve the community better.

Inspiration Station

We held several events inside the Inspiration Station in 2025, cumulating in our board directed open house on Nov. 14. Inspiration Station also saw involvement from COSI during Inventor’s Playground in May and hosted Dr. Bob Liggett at the Steam Fall Fest in September. In December, PCCF hired Julie Sreekanth as the first Inspiration Station Exectuive Director, who will help lead the museum in 2026. Julie serves as the education committee co-chair and has been heavily involved in planning many of the events. The Inspiration Station is already inspiring and entertaining young minds and we can’t wait to see everyone at the Inspiration Station in 2026 as we work on completing exhibits and hosting even more educational programming.

We’re grateful to everyone for their support this year. These achievements would not have been possible without your support. We look forward to achieving even more as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2026. We’ll have more on our celebrations to come in the new year.

Yours in service,

Alexis & Steven
