Two special recognitions were made at the Thanks for Giving event held on November 27th in accordance with #GivingTuesday. The first recognized an individual who saw a need, could not stand to see people go hungry and did something about it through her church. PCCF recognized Thecala Acord for her work with the South Bloomfield United Methodist Church Women Who Care. Thecela was presented with her own back pack which she can keep but it is filled with goodies she can share.
The second recognition that the PCCF Board made was to a non-profit that recognized a need and pulled together more resources than can be imagined to assist with their vision to help youth in the City of Circleville and the county. The PCCF Board recognize Foundations4Youth, a new non-profit in the county that serves a huge need. Matt Hafey with the Circleville police and a volunteer at Foundations4Youth accepted a travel tote of games to be used on rainy days.
